Colwyn Bay progressed to the third round of the JD Welsh Cup after a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Buckley Town.
The Seagulls found themselves trailing 2-1 as the match neared its end.
However, Jamie Cummings converted a 'controversial' penalty in the 89th minute, bringing the teams level.
The tension continued into the shoot-out, where Rhys Williams made a crucial save on Buckley’s sixth penalty, securing a 6-5 win for Colwyn Bay.
Bay started the game strong, taking the lead in the opening minute.
Gwion Dafydd rolled the ball into an empty net from 20 yards following confusion in the Buckley defence.
However, Buckley responded well, equalising in the 28th minute with a header from Callum Humphries.
Colwyn Bay had a penalty appeal turned down when Tommy Creamer was allegedly pulled back in the box.
Creamer also struck the post before Buckley took the lead through Max Moore in the 52nd minute.
Despite making five changes, Bay pressed for an equaliser.
They were awarded a penalty after a foul by Buckley’s keeper on Lloyd Marsh-Hughes.
The Bay's Sol Forde later cleared a potential last-minute winner off the line, ensuring the game went to penalties.
