An incredible turnout of more than five hundred keen runners attended the Caernarfon half marathon event on Sunday.
The North Wales Road Runners Club (NWRRC) fielded 15 participants and ended the day with five coveted podium places in the main race, and three victories in the age categories.
They also bagged 10 championship medals, including six gold, one silver, and three bronze amongst the 504 finishers.
Jonathan Kettle turned in an exceptional performance, finishing 6th overall and securing 2nd place in his M50 age category with a running time of 1 hour, 20 minutes, and 57 seconds.
Close behind was Iwan Evans, ending the race 23rd in 1.28.33, followed by Will Evans crossing the finish line 33rd in an impressive 1.31.35, bagging 2nd place in the M40 category.
Others placing in the race included Stuart Culverhouse, finishing 45th in 1.34, and club chairman and veteran athlete Kevin Slattery, who won the M65 age category, taking 68th place overall in 1.40.19.
Adam Lemalle managed 72nd place finishing in 1.40.55, while Steve Roberts was content to run home in 80th place in 1.41.32.
Top form came from Cheryl Frost who secured the top spot in the F55 category in 1.47.36 as the 21st female athlete.
Adding to NWRRC triumphs at the event, Richard Scamans finished in 148th place in 1.51.05 and veteran runner Rob Fryer celebrated triumph in his F70 category in 1.59.24.
Not to be outdone, Daniel Hennell achieved a new personal best, completing the course in 202nd place in 2.00.31.
Sisters Hannah Griffith and Siwan Kalatzi ran the course in tandem and finished together as the 69th and 70th females in 2.07.39.
Following this performance, Helen Hannam rounded off the top female representation for NWRRC as the 85th female runner in 2.10.52.
The half-marathon race saw impressive results from Tomos Roberts, who gained the winning title in 1.09.15, followed by Josh Griffiths in 2nd position in 1.10.08, while Chris Pownall finished 3rd in 1.16.21.
