A BUDDING cricketer from Llandudno has represented Wales at under-13s level.
Casey Bedford has continued Llandudno Cricket Club’s record of producing talented cricketers after playing in three matches for his country.
They included games against Staffordshire under-13s on May 31, Yorkshire on June 6 and Herefordshire on June 20. His next game for Wales will be against Gloucestershire on July 18.
Casey started playing cricket in Llandudno at the age of five and is progressing through the club’s teams. He has also represented Eyry, the Cricket Wales North Regional Team.
The pandemic had put a stop to cricket over the last twelve months but as training resumed Casey has regularly travelled to South Wales to take part in Wales under-13s training sessions.
