LLANDUDNO manager Sean Eardley has bolstered competition for places in his squad with two more signings.
The JD Cymru North side are looking to make a serious improvement under the former Caernarfon Town boss following his bombshell arrival at Maesdu Park this summer, and he will be further aided by the arrivals of Bryan Roberts and Dylan Thomas.
Roberts is no stranger to the set-up having played under previous boss Matthew Jones last season after moving from Conwy Borough.
The left-sided player held a meeting with the new manager regarding his status within the squad, and Eardley praising his commitment during their initial return to training so far.
He said: “As a management team we had a sit down with Bry a few weeks back.
“He, like everyone else, knows the competition for places, but he’s trained really hard and wants to better himself every time he walks through the door.
“He will keep improving and gives us great balance being left-sided.”
Thomas arrives at the club following a successful spell with Llandudno Junction last time out. It took some time for the player to adjust to the step-up in class, but Eardley has been pleased by what he has seen from the new arrival during this period transition.
“Dylan came in at the start of pre-season. It was a bit of a shock to the system, but he’s grown in stature and confidence week by week,” added Eardley.
“He’s good mates with Evo (Gareth Evans) off the field which made bedding in easier. He’s fitter, stronger and I can only see him continue to grow and be a good addition to the squad.”
