CONWY Borough’s reserve side have announced details of their return to training.

Their first session will take place at Y Morfa on Wednesday, August 5 from 6.30pm, with new and returning players welcome to attend.

This will be held in a socially distanced setting in accordance with Football Association of Wales guidelines.

The Tangerines confirmed that the duo of Nathan Parker and Sam Baker have been appointed manager and assistant boss respectively for the re-established reserve side, which is set to officially return to the domestic scene when competitive action gets back underway.

Parker is currently updating his FAW C coaching certificate and has recent experience at Penrhyn Bay FC and Colwyn Bay Academy.

He will be supported in his new role by Baker, who is an FA Level 1 Coach with playing experience at Curzon Ashton, Stockport County, Halifax Town and Cefn Druids.

Borough are hoping their reformed reserve set-up will be “an integral part of the club”, and the team will receive all the necessary support from the first team in terms of a clear pathway to progression.

In accordance with coronavirus pandemic regulations, anyone that wishes to attend the training session should contact Nathan Parker in advance to confirm numbers.
