LLANRWST United striker Callum Parry is in high demand as speculation mounts about his future.
The prolific striker has been in phenomenal form for the Rwsters’ so far this term, which has attracted the interest of several JD Cymru North clubs who are aiming to acquire his services.
Parry, who has found the net 24 times to top the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One scoring charts, has received confirmed approaches from Colwyn Bay and Corwen, who plan to speak to the highly touted forward next weekend following the statutory seven-day notice period.
The Pioneer also understands that Bangor City are believed to be monitoring the situation as they continue their squad overhaul after the Football Association of Wales lifted their transfer embargo preventing them from signing players to professional contracts.
United are hugely keen on keeping Parry within their set-up for the remainder of the campaign, with the club performing well above expectations so far this term thanks in no small part to his exceptional series of performances in front of goal.
Bay assistant Mark Orme was in attendance during Llanrwst’s draw at Nantlle Vale on Saturday, where Parry once again found the net, and a move to the Four Crosses Arena is reportedly a tempting proposition for the striker as the Seagulls’ aim to fill the void left by injured striker Damian Ketley and Julian Williams, who is set to spend considerable time in Australia in the coming months.
