PROLIFIC striker Callum Parry was the star of the show once again for Llanrwst United in their emphatic 5-1 home rout over Llanberis.
The talented forward was in ruthless mood for the Rwsters’ in another clinical day at the office, which leaves them third in Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One and 11 points behind Holyhead Hotspur with two games in hand.
The visitors managed to get their noses in front on three minutes thanks to a successful attempt from Gethin Wakeham, but United pegged them back midway through the half when Aron Hughes finished well with 21 on the clock.
Parry despatched his first of the afternoon soon after when he found the net on 31 minutes to give the hosts the lead for the first time, and he doubled his tally from the penalty spot with 34 gone to increase their cushion.
After the break saw Parry round off another exceptional individual display with his hat-trick on the hour mark, and Hughes completed the scoring with 71 on the clock to secure his brace.
Glan Conwy now find themselves in fourth position after a hard-fought 2-0 win at Llandyrnog United.
A scoreless first period was brought to life two minutes after the interval when Ben Jarvis opened the scoring, and Howards Vaughan’s side finally secured three points against a spirited United side when Conor Davies converted a penalty late on.
There was no such luck for Llandudno Albion, who suffered another blow to their championship hopes as they were beaten 1-0 at Penrhyndeudraeth.
The hosts took an early lead courtesy of a Carwyn Price effort on ten minutes, and Albion missed a wealth of opportunities to salvage something from the game throughout the remainder of the contest.
