LLANDUDNO Junction’s recent Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division Two resurgence continued with a 3-1 home win over Aberffraw.
The Railwaymen’s turnaround in fortunes continued with another eye-catching display that began with an opener on ten minutes when Jack Williams found some space and finished well.
After the break saw the visitors grow more into the contest and they were rewarded on 72 minutes when Luke Moore’s powerful drive found its way into the net to level proceedings heading into the closing stages.
Credit to the home side, who bounced back almost immediately and regained the advantage through Chris Banks with 80 on the clock, and Junction secured another vital three points late on when a quick breakaway was finished off by Gary Roberts.
Mochdre Sports picked up an important victory on their travels with a 3-1 triumph at Amlwch Town.
The visitors started the game strongly and went ahead on 12 minutes through a neat finish from Robert Tudor, only to be pegged back courtesy of a Ryan Rowlands effort with 26 on the clock.
After the interval saw Sports’ take the lead once again thanks to a successful Tomas Roberts chance on 50 minutes, and the same player was on hand to double the away side’s advantage and secure the points with 11 remaining.
