LLANRWST United maintained their exceptional run of recent results with a convincing 4-1 home win over Mynydd Llandegai.
The Rwsters’ wasted no time in making their mark and went ahead on nine minutes through a Leon Doran finish, and they doubled their advantage through prolific forward Callum Parry with 13 on the clock.
Parry was in relentless mood once again on 40 minutes when he despatched another opportunity for his second of the afternoon, but the visitors got back into the tie after the break courtesy of an Osian Jones strike with 65 gone.
United restored their three-goal cushion on 70 minutes thanks to another clinical strike from Parry, his third of the afternoon to leave his side in sixth spot.
A strong first half showing from Glan Conwy saw them secure an impressive 4-0 triumph at St Asaph City.
The away side began the game on the front foot and went ahead after just ten minutes when Jordan Phillips was presented with a chance, and the deadly forward made no mistake with the finish from close range to put his side in the ascendancy.
This was followed by another from the visitors’ courtesy of Keating Hoe-Pike, who was the beneficiary of some more exceptional approach play from Jamie Jones to increase their advantage.
Jones, who assisted the first two goals throughout a tremendous individual display, went from provider to scorer midway through the half when he latched on to a Phillips flick on before firing expertly into the corner.
Things went from bad-to-worse for the Saints’ towards the end of the first period, with Phillips notching his second of the afternoon after linking up well with Keating during the build-up to round off the scoring and move Howard Vaughan’s men up to fourth in Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One.
