A FORMER RGC star made his home debut for an English Premiership side last weekend.

Sean Lonsdale, was part of the Rydal Penrhos Rugby Academy and turned out for Exeter Chiefs in their impressive 43-20 victory over Saracens.

The 20-year-old came on as a fourth minute substitute in what was his first competitive appearance at Sandy Park Lonsdale, who played a starring role for RGC in their Principality Premiership promotion-winning campaign, caught the eye of the Chiefs and subsequently signed a development deal and was loaned to Cornish Pirates to continue his development.

He also returned to Stadiwm Zip World during the summer to put on the Gogs’ shirt yet again in their landmark clash against the Welsh national team.
