Colwyn Bay have advanced to the JD Welsh Cup's last 16 after defeating Ruthin Town with a 2-1 victory at home.
Skipper Sam Hart scored his first goal of the season, which was also the match-winner, within the first five minutes of the second half of the match.
The goal came after Craig Lindfield's first goal for Colwyn Bay, earlier in the first half, and then an equaliser from Ruthin just before half-time.
The match at Llanelian Road began with an early scare for the Bay when Ruthin hit the post in the opening five minutes.
Jamie Cumming then hit the Ruthin bar before Lindfield, in the 23rd minute, netted the first goal of the match from an Ethan Roberts cross.
Ruthin's goalkeeper, Dan Goldston, kept his team in the game with a series of impressive saves, including a low save from Cumming and a header from Sam Hart that followed a Lindfield cross.
The Ruthin keeper also denied Tommy Creamer and Lindfield in a fine double save.
Ruthin then equalised against the run of play just before half-time, with former Bay player Llyr Morris cutting inside and beating Rhys Williams at his near post.
Colwyn Bay regained their lead shortly after the second half began.
Hart's free kick into the area was missed by Goldston, who collided with two defenders when coming off his line to try to punch it clear.
The ball rolled into an unguarded net, securing a lead for the Bay.
Colwyn Bay had several chances to extend their lead.
A turn and shot by Creamer could have added a third Bay goal, but the effort was just over the bar.
Another Creamer shot from a Will McKinley pass also went over the bar, as did a volleyed effort from Cumming after good work by substitute Lloyd Marsh-Hughes.
Ruthin pressed hard for an equaliser late in the game.
However, apart from a couple of shots over the bar by Sam Jones, they were unable to trouble Bay keeper Williams.
The victory sees Colwyn Bay advance to the last 16 of the JD Welsh Cup.
Attendance at the stadium was 519.
The Carling Man of the Match was Will McKinley.
