“Being asked to be club captain and taking the reins from a good friend of mine is something I’m very proud of and shows the trust that Mike and Danny have in me,” Hart said.

Cai Owen and Jamie Cumming have also committed for another season.

Both were members of last year’s JD Cymru North title-winning side, as was defender Joe Williams, who returns to the club after a season at Flint Town United.

Three other players from Flint’s promotion winning squad, goalkeeper Rhys Williams, defender Sol Forde and midfielder Jay Owen have also joined.

Owen won back to back Cymru Premier titles with Connah’s Quay and was Flint’s captain last season.

”I had no hesitation when I had the phone call from Mike and Danny to sign for an exciting club with such a great fan base,”  Owen said.

Meanwhile, the club have also unveiled their new home and away shirts for next season - supplied by Hope and Glory and with Abergele company KHS Mechanical Ltd, the new shirt sponsors got the next three seasons.
