COLWYN Bay secured their second successive win in the JD Cymru Premier with a 3-1 victory over bottom of the table Aberystwyth Town last Friday.
Bay’s first home win in the top-flight saw them move up to ninth in the table ahead of Saturday’s game against Newtown at the Four Crosses Construction Arena (Kick-Off: 2.30pm).
Against Aberystwyth, Bay went ahead inside 12 minutes when Tommy Creamer, from Jamie Cumming’s quickly take free kick, fired a spectacular strike from 25 yards.
Creamer won S4C’s Sgorio’s Goal of the Month for August after his screamer at Barry Town and will certainly been in the running for September’s prize too.

Evans also had praise for man of the match Akpan, who scored his first Bay goal.
