COLWYN Bay manager Steve Evans has started to put his squad together ahead of the club’s debut campaign in the JD Cymru Premier.
Forwards Nick Rushton and Lloyd Marsh-Hughes have joined from Newtown and Caernarfon Town respectively while the majority of last season’s squad are staying on.
Captain Tom McCready and player of the season Sam Hart are among the players who have committed for the 2023-24 season.

Jamie Cumming, Tommy Creamer, Ryan Edwards, Stefan Edwards, Sam Downey, Guto Williams and Cai Owen have re-signed along with under contract players Alex Downes, Matty Hill and Lewis Sirrell.
Youngster Macsen Rhys-Williams returns from a season-long loan at Conwy Borough while fellow academy graduate Joel Giblin will also be involved with the first team this season.
Craig Lindfield, Kristian Platt, Joe Williams, Jack Crichton and Sam Fowles have left along with Cameron Darling, who moved to Australia in April, and the retired Jordan Carrington.
“I’d like to thank them for their efforts and their hard work for the club,” Evans said.

“They have been first class. Not only are they good players, they are all good people who will be missed.
“I want to wish them all the best for the future.”
Of the new signings Rushton, who has also played for Wrexham and Connah’s Quay Nomads, and ex-Chester player Marsh-Hughes, Evans said: “I’m really happy to add Nick and Lloyd to our squad and welcome them to the Bay.
“Both bring quality, experience of playing in the JD Cymru Premier and healthy competition to our squad.”
The club has also paid tribute to long-standing supporter and former reserve team manager Ken Davies, who has died aged 84.
