A CHRISTMAS market is to be held in Colwyn Bay next weekend.
Organised by Sandra Bellew, owner of Artisan’s Loft furniture shop, this will be based at Stadiwm CSM on Sunday (December 8).
Sandra said the idea for the event, which will be sponsored by Specsavers’ Colwyn Bay branch, is to “bring a bit of Christmas cheer to the area”.
The market will include 75 stalls, a Christmas grotto, a children’s fancy dress competition, gift-wrapping demonstrations, a tombola, raffles, and mulled wine.
There will also be live music performances from steel drums duo Pantastic, solo artist Nansi Rose, and Choirs for Good.
It will be held from 11am until 5.30pm, with a £2.50 entrance fee.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to initiatives including Colwyn Bay Community Hwb and Foodbank, The Kind Bay Initative, Tenovus Cancer Care, and the Colwyn Bay Pier Project.
Children aged younger than 16 are allowed free entry, but must be accompanied by an adult.
