AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a former physiotherapist from Old Colwyn.
Iain Mitchell was sadly found dead at his home on Fron Road on the morning of November 14.
At County Hall in Ruthin on Monday (November 25), an inquest was opened into the 67-year-old's death.
It heard that Mr Mitchell's wife had contacted North Wales Police reporting that she had found her husband hanged in the garage area.
Officers attended, and Mr Mitchell's death was sadly confirmed at 7.05am.
John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, said a ligature was found to have been used in an apparent act of self harm.
He adjourned a full inquest until a later date.
