DONATIONS are being urged as part of a bid to provide homeless families in Denbighshire and Conwy with Christmas dinners and selection boxes this winter.
Community group Helping Homeless North Wales has set up a GoFundMe page for this appeal, which can be found at: www.gofundme.com/f/xmas-meal-and-selection-box-for-homeless.
Richard Kendrick, of Helping Homeless North Wales, said the aim is to buy meals for everyone in temporary accommodation across both counties, as well as a selection box for each child.

These will be given to housing officers from both county’s councils, who will then distribute them.
He said: “I’d like to give each person who's homeless and living in emergency temporary accommodation a meal for Christmas day, and a selection box for the children.
“Please if you could help, donate, and help put a smile on many faces on Christmas Day. Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to cook a Christmas meal.
In September, a £1,000 donation was made by Rhyl Charity Darts League to help support this appeal.
