AMERICAN pop star Olivia Rodrigo caused a stir yesterday (November 21) when she was spotted shopping in Llandudno’s Marks and Spencer store.
Rodrigo, 21, known for hits such as Drivers Licence and Good 4 U, called in at the supermarket and posed for a photo with customer assistant, Rose Ann Bituan-Thomas.
Rose said: “I’m a huge fan of Olivia – not just because of her music, but because she’s half-Filipino, as her dad is Filipino like me!

“When she came in, I spotted her straight away and once I got over my excitement, I wanted to do something really special for her.
“In our culture, we have the Filipino tradition of ‘Pasalubong’, which is when travellers bring gifts from their destination to people back home.
“As Olivia lives in America and is a huge fan of Percy Pig (she called them out in her recent UK concerts), I went over to her with my Pasalubong gift – one of our Percy Pig Christmas tote bags – for her to take back to her family at home.”
Rodrigo has also been spotted at the Ormo Lounge bar and restaurant, and shared a picture of Deganwy on her Instagram story yesterday.
She is dating actor Louis Partridge, who has family from Wales and England.
Her second album, Guts, was released in September 2023.
