A HOLIDAY park company in North Wales won gold and silver prizes at this year’s British Travel Awards.
Lyons Holiday Parks took home the gold awards for “best company for UK parks and lodge holidays” and “best company for UK family holidays” at last night’s (November 19) ceremony at Battersea Evolution in London.
It also won silver in the “best company for UK short breaks” category.
The company also won the same two gold prizes at last year’s awards, and took silver in “best company for UK parks and lodge holidays” in 2022.
Lyons, a family-run business, which was founded in 1924 in Rhyl, has 20 sites across Wales, and is the country’s largest holiday park operator.
A Lyons spokesperson said: “This incredible achievement wouldn’t have been possible without our loyal customers, holiday home owners, and team members who make Lyons so special.
“Your votes, trust, and love for what we do mean the absolute world to us. Thank you for being part of this amazing journey.”
The British Travel Awards are the largest consumer-voted travel awards of its kind in the UK.
This year, more than 1.2million votes were cast by in excess of 400,000 consumers.
