A ROAD in Rhos-on-Sea is set to temporarily close after a sinkhole appeared.
Residents spotted the sinkhole on Everard Road earlier today, with the sinkhole thought to be close to a gas pipe.
The depression has lead to the council to adopt a Emergency Temporary Traffic Regulation Order, which restricts or stops pedestrian or vehicle traffic on a road for a minimum of three days.
The order will be in place for 11 days, from November 19 to November 30.
The council said this was to "facilitate emergency works", and noted that the closure dates were cautionary and the sinkhole was being investigated.
