HUNGRY Cow has announced the closure of two of its sites - including Colwyn Bay.

The burger restaurant, which first opened in Holywell in 2021, has announced the closure of its Colwyn Bay restaurant and the Flint express site with "immediate affect".

The Colwyn Bay restaurant opened its doors in 2023, and the Flint site at the George & Dragon pub earlier this year. Hungry Cow also had a restaurant in Holywell which closed, as well as an express kitchen site at a pub in Prestatyn.

A spokesperson for Hungry Cow said: "We are a small family run business and the stress of managing multiple locations whilst trying to ensure we maintain the highest standards has taken its toll.

"Although we have enjoyed our times of expansion, we believe that the right decision for us as a business is to now take a step back in order for us to move forward in the future.

"Our Mold Bar and Restaurant will remain open as normal, where we will be focussing on creating a unique and consistent dine in, take away and delivery service with 100 per cent of our efforts for our customers."

They added: "Lastly, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our fantastic team at hungry cow & all of our customers for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you all in the Mold Bar and Restaurant in the near future."
