LLANDUDNO will be hosting its Christmas parade once again this winter.
Organised by Llandudno Town Council, the parade will be held this year on Saturday, December 7.
It will depart the town’s railway station at 4pm and make its way along Vaughan Street, Mostyn Street, past the town hall on Lloyd Street, and down Madoc Street, before returning to the station.
The parade will be led by Clwyd and Gwynedd ACF Corps of Drums & Knights of Snowdon, followed by Father Christmas on his sleigh.
Attractions in the parade will include the Theatr Colwyn Pinocchio-themed pantomime float, nativity float, Cambria Band, Christmas-themed stilt-walkers, juggling elves, many characters, as well as young people’s groups from Llandudno.
Entertainment will take place outside the town hall from 2.15pm, featuring the Llandudno Town Band, Llandudno Youth Music Theatre, Linzi Grace School of Dance, carol singing from Ysgol Glanwydden, and a Christmas message from Reverend Morris.
Once the parade has left Lloyd Street, there will be a 25-minute show, followed by a performance by the Batala Samba Band.
The Christmas parade chairman, Cllr Antony Bertola, said: “As the Christmas parade approaches, we are all really excited about seeing the performers and talented acts.
“You will be able to witness Christmas characters, singing, dancing, and an array of music as the parade progresses through the town of Llandudno.
“We look forward to seeing you on the day.
“I must also like to thank everyone within the council and the volunteers who work so hard on this event. Thank you all for supporting the town.”
