POLICE attended a "concern for safety" incident on Rhos-on-Sea promenade earlier this week.

Emergency services, including police, coastguard and air ambulance services, attended the incident on the afternoon of November 12.

Llandudno RNLI's inshore lifeboat launched to help emergency service teams respond to what it called an "emergency".

Police have confirmed the matter involved a "concern for safety".

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Officers were attending to assist with a concern for safety incident."

Wales Air Ambulance were also in attendance, with a spokesperson adding: "On discussion with other services present, we were advised that we were not required.

"We cleared from the scene with no patient contact."
