A FISH and chip shop in Conwy has received a ‘Good Food Award’ for chippies.

Fisherman’s Chip Shop, on Castle Street, was recognised with the ‘Gold Seal’ award at the Good Food Awards, which has celebrated culinary excellence across the UK since 2002.

Largely based on customer feedback/votes and online reviews, Blue Ribbon and Gold Seal honours are awarded to establishments that show “exceptional food quality, service, and value”.

Gold Seal winners, like Fisherman’s Chip Shop, have shown this high standard for three or more consecutive years.
