TRANSPORT for Wales has issued a statement after trains did not run to Llandudno and other areas of Conwy on Remembrance Sunday (November 10).
Hopeful passengers were forced to take rail replacement buses between Holyhead and Llandudno Junction, on a day when many attended services to honour the country's fallen.
This meant people hoping to travel to Llandudno, Conwy, Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan (and elsewhere further along the route) had to use the replacement service.
Some would-be travellers labelled the lack of trains a "disgrace".

Transport for Wales said its trains did not run between these stations due to "essential engineering works", and thanked customers for their patience.
A Transport for Wales spokesperson said: "Network Rail carried out essential engineering works between Holyhead and Llandudno Junction on Sunday, November 10th, to improve the long-term reliability of the railway.
"We understand that engineering works can be disruptive and bus replacement buses were provided.
"We would like to thank passengers for their patience."
