A CASUALTY was taken to hospital following an incident involving a wagon and a person working at an industrial estate in Llandudno Junction this morning (November 12).
This was at the Tremarl Industrial Estate, on Ffordd Maelgwyn, at 9.25am today, with an air ambulance also having attended.
North Wales Police said the incident will be dealt with in due course by the Health and Safety Executive.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 9.18am this morning to an incident at Tremarl Industrial Estate on Llandudno Junction.
"We deployed an emergency ambulance and crews were supported by a Cymru High Acuity Response Unit paramedic.
"Advanced critical care support was delivered by the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service in a Wales Air Ambulance charity helicopter.
"One patient was taken to hospital for further treatment."
A North Wales Police spokesperson added: “Officers were called to an industrial unit on Tremarl Industrial Estate, Llandudno Junction at 9.25am today to support colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service who were attending an incident involving a wagon and a person working at the location.”
A Wales Air Ambulance spokesperson said: "I can confirm that Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in that region this morning.
"Our Caernarfon-based crew were allocated at 9.24am and attended by air.
"They arrived at the scene at 9.56m. Our involvement concluded at 10.47am."
