SERVICES took place in Llandudno and Colwyn Bay to honour the nation's fallen heroes on Remembrance Sunday.

In Llandudno, a service of remembrance was held at The Church of the Holy Trinity followed by a remembrance service at the War Memorial.

The service, conducted by the Reverend Vince Morris, was attended by hundreds of residents, as well as the Mayor of Llandudno, Cllr Michael Pearce, members and officers of the council together with members of the armed forces, cadet forces, ex-service members and voluntary organisations.

Colwyn Bay honoured the nation's fallen heroes with a parade through town, preceded by a service at St Paul's Church.

The parade made its way up Woodland Road East to the War Memorial at Queen's Gardens, before a continuation of the service which saw the laying of wreaths.

Bay of Colwyn Town Council said of the service: "Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Sunday Service and Remembrance Parade.

"Your presence honoured the memory of those who served and sacrificed.

"As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and the moments captured reflect the deep respect and unity we shared."

Other remembrance services took place in Conwy town, Old Colwyn and Penrhynside.
