FAMILIES in temporary emergency accommodation have been gifted tickets to see the new Paddington in Peru film at cinemas in Rhyl, Prestatyn and Llandudno Junction.
The tickets have been purchased by dedicated fundraiser Richard Kendrick, who also goes by Bearjamin the Fundraising Bear.
They have been bought for homeless families to watch the new film, which is released on Friday (November 8), at either the Scala cinema in Prestatyn, the Vue cinema in Rhyl, or Cineworld in Llandudno Junction.
Families from both Denbighshire and Conwy counties have received the tickets.
Richard said: “We are so chuffed that so many families can get out and watch Paddington in Peru.
“We are here to support all homeless. One of our main aims is to support the mental health and wellbeing of children while living in temporary emergency accommodation.
“Getting out to see a film is great for the whole family - a few hours out of their accommodation, and something to look forward to.
“We are looking forward to working more with homeless officers across the North Wales coast.
“Also, a big thanks to Prestatyn and Rhyl Lions club for their kind donation towards the tickets.”
