A SPECTACULAR fireworks display was held on Llandudno’s North Shore beach on Sunday (November 3) ahead of Bonfire Night.
Crowds line the promenade, from the pier to Craig-y-Don, to watch the display, which was organised by Llandudno Town Council.
Mayor of Llandudno, Cllr Michael Pearce, said: “I hope that everyone enjoyed this year’s fantastic fireworks display.
“It was the best we have ever had and the response from the crowds was amazing. I wish to thank all involved for all their hard work in putting on such a successful event.”
Cllr Carol Marubbi, chairman of the town council’s fireworks sub-committee, said: “On behalf of the town council, i would like to thank the councillors, town council staff, volunteer collectors, Conwy County Borough Council Events and ERF teams, and all involved in putting on such a fantastic display.
“Particular thanks go to Adam Williams of Llandudno Pier for his generous support in providing all the machinery and manpower to ensure that the event goes ahead, and to Ignite Pyrotechnics for putting on such a fabulous show.
“Without all the stakeholders working together, this annual major event would not be able to take place.”
A Llandudno Town Council spokesperson added: “We would like to thank the public for turning out to support this major event once again.”
