Race organiser Chris Yorke from RunWales has confirmed that only a limited number of entries still remain for the ever-popular end of season Conwy Half-Marathon which is all set for Sunday 17th November 2024.
The publicity brochure encourages all entrants to ‘run like you've never run before’ at this iconic, and super-fast Conwy half marathon in the capital of North Wales.
Voted in the top 5 most scenic half-marathons in the UK by Readers of Runners World, this exciting Half Marathon, is now in its 14th year is a classic race on the calendar and boasts a fantastic start and finish area near the quayside in front of the 700-year-old plus, Conwy Castle.
In 2018, this event saw over 3,000 runners take part, and many PB’s were also achieved.
The route runs along the road adjacent to the Conwy River as it proceeds towards Deganwy and the West Shore Llandudno, from there it goes along church Walks towards Llandudno Pier, then around the Great Orme taking in views of the Isle of Anglesey, Puffin Island and the surrounding North Wales coastline, then back to Conwy and the finish line.
