WORK has started on specialist street cleaning in Conwy.
Through funding from the UK Government, high-pressure scrubbers, jet washers and environmentally friendly cleaning agents are being used to deep-clean streets across the county.
This includes work in Old Colwyn, Rhos-on-Sea, Conwy, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno.
The work will be ongoing until early December, and is being carried out between the hours of 6pm and 4am.

Conwy County Borough Council said: “We are sorry for any noise disruption from the cleaning operations. This is a temporary inconvenience which will result in cleaner streets.
“If your street is scheduled for cleaning, please do not park your vehicle in this area. Vehicles left in cleaning zones are left at the owner’s risk.
