A MEMBER of staff dressed as a clown has been released from hospital after stuck with a needle at a Halloween event in Conwy.
The incident took place on Monday evening at the Ffear Fforest event at Zip World, in Betws-y-Coed.
North Wales Police said the victim sustained a needlestick injury and was released from hospital after precautionary checks.
They said enquiries were ongoing and that there was "no risk to the wider public".
Zip World said an employee had come into contact with a "potentially dangerous medical device".
A Zip World spokesperson said: "The member of staff was dressed in fancy dress as a clown and part of Zip World’s entertainment team.
"They were discharged from hospital last night."
