A ROAD near the Slaters garage in Colwyn Bay will be closed for almost one month to allow for the installation of new traffic lights.
The works, on the A547 (junction 20 westbound on-slip) will also involve the addition of pedestrian crossings at the junction.
They will take place between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, and are due to start on October 28 and finish on November 22.
Traffic Wales said: “The existing traffic signals have reached the end of their design life and are no longer economical to repair.
“As part of the works, pedestrian crossing facilities will be installed across Conway Road (A547) and J20 on-slip.”
The new pedestrian crossing facilities should be installed by November 1.
