WHISKY lovers will descend on Llandudno next weekend for the first ever Wales Whisky Festival at St George's Hotel.

The three-day event will begin with an exclusive opening party on Friday, November 1.

Sponsored by Llandudno's own Penderyn Distillery, the evening will see guests enjoy a four-course meal paired with appropriate whiskies. The evening will also feature special guests including Rob Richardson, famous for his Whisky Ventures rides on social media where he tours distilleries on his bike. He will be sharing some of his best stories from his travels.

On Saturday Côr Meibion Dinbych a'r Cylch - the Denbigh and District Male Voice Choir will open proceedings.

The festival will feature more than 30 exhibitors offering whiskies, coffees, pairing advice, cocktail sessions, limited edition bottlings and more. Tickets for each day will also entitle holders to distillery tours at both Penderyn and Aber Falls in Llanfairfechan.

Tickets for all three days are available online at www.waleswhiskyfest.co.uk.
