COLWYN Bay’s Pride event will return in 2025, it has been confirmed.
Organised by community group Together For Colwyn Bay, which formed in 2020 and strives to improve the town, the Pride event has been held annually on the town’s promenade since 2023.
This year’s event featured a number of musical performances, a rainbow balloon archway, dance and circus workshops, and stalls from the likes of Sexual Health Wales, UNIQUE Transgender Network, Young Conwy, and Community and Voluntary Support Conwy.
Together For Colwyn Bay said: “We are thrilled to announce that Colwyn Bay Pride is returning in 2025, and we're offering incredible sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organisations to get involved!
“Last year, over 8,000 people attended our event, making it one of the biggest and most vibrant celebrations of LGBTQ+ pride in North Wales.
“It was a day filled with joy, unity, and empowerment, and we’re excited to make next year even bigger and better.
“By sponsoring Colwyn Bay Pride 2025, you'll be supporting an inclusive and diverse community while showcasing your commitment to equality and visibility for all.
“Your brand will reach thousands of attendees and gain exposure through our extensive marketing campaigns, social media, and event signage.
“Plus, you’ll be part of something truly special — a day dedicated to love, acceptance, and togetherness.
“Let’s continue to celebrate diversity, foster inclusion, and spread the message of pride!”
A date for next year’s Pride event in Colwyn Bay will be confirmed in due course.
