Applicants Tom and Lucy Adshead will convert the building into seven two-bed apartments, across four floors including at attic and basement level.

The building, which is not listed, most recently housed offices for the nearby Rydal Penrhos school.
Vacant for several years, work will retain the “original and historic fabric” of the site, according to a heritage statement by AG Architectural Solutions Ltd.
Most of the work will be done to the exterior of the building, with “minimal” alterations to the interior.
