THE car park on Llanfairfechan’s promenade is to fully close from Monday (October 14) while improvements are made to it.
Conwy County Borough Council is currently refurbishing the car park, including improving drainage, resurfacing and line painting, and installing electric vehicle charging points.
This work started in September, and is due to finish at the end of November (weather-dependent).
Contractors are working 8am to 4.30pm (3.30pm on Fridays) on weekdays only.
Alternative parking is available on the promenade on West Shore and Station Road.
The council is also arranging extra parking on the promenade “red road” by the boat yard.
A Conwy County Borough Council spokesperson added: “There will be access to all the businesses on the seafront, and pedestrian access in both directions along the promenade, and to the nature reserve at Glan y Mor Elias.”
