A CAFÉ in Llandudno has undergone a rebrand with plans to host various special evening events, including murder mysteries and cheese and music nights.
Coffee V, at 18 Mostyn Avenue, has been officially renamed CoffeeVino after securing a licence to sell alcohol.
The business, owned by Alexandria Geeson and Jennifer Dallaway, recently celebrated its first anniversary.
And after a successful first year, and an exterior refurbishment, the business will now be hosting evening events with a range of ideas in the pipeline.
Ideas for upcoming events include a book club, a cheese and music night (with a local guitarist performing), a games evening and a crochet club.
The bar’s 1920s-themed murder mystery night has already sold out, showing the demand for evening events in the town.
The owners said their main aim was to “keep the community get-togethers” they see in their day hours.
The owners told The Pioneer: “Our new sign was fitted so Coffee V officially became CoffeeVino.

“Having an alcohol license means that if we put on an evening event that our customers have more choice.
“We will still serve our usual coffee shop drinks, additionally people will also have a choice of alcoholic drinks.
“A glass of wine whilst enjoying our evening book club might be something that would go down well.
“We will be adding to our daytime events with a range of evening ones. We have a 1920’s themed murder mystery night coming up soon.
“Tickets for that have already sold out.
“Additionally a cheese and music night is in the pipeline with a local guitarist joining us.
“We have a crochet club starting up for those who would like to learn and for those that just want to have company whilst creating.
“We’d like to start a games evening for those who enjoy a board game like monopoly, scrabble, chess etc.
“Our main aim is to keep the community get-togethers, which we see day in and day out and extend that so residents can also enjoy time together in the evening.”
