DISABLED public toilets in Llanrwst have closed following an incident of vandalism.

The disabled toilet facility at Gwydyr Park was closed after a report last Thursday (September 12) of damage caused to its lock.

This meant the door was unable to be locked even when in use, so Conwy County Borough Council said the facility is out of order until the necessary repairs can be made.

The remainder of the toilet facilities at Gwydyr Park are still available to use, while the nearest disabled toilet facilities are at Glasdir Library.

A council spokesperson said today (September 17): “The disabled toilet is closed whilst we await the repair.”
