STAFF at the Shoe Zone store in Llandudno have not been informed of when the store will close, or when it will move.
The store, located at 67 Mostyn Street, is due to move to an empty unit at Parc Llandudno, previously home to TUI.
At the store, adorned with ‘closing down’ signs, there are also signs that say the store will move next to Primark.
The Pioneer was told by store staff that they “hadn’t been told anything” about the move – about when the current store would close or when the new site would be ready.
A member of staff added that “you will know before we do”.

The former TUI site remains empty, with no apparent work being undertaken at present.
Shoe Zone’s Mostyn Street site has a trading area of 157sqm at the current unit, compared to the more than 400sqm of space at the new site.
In a planning application submitted earlier this year, Shoe Zone said its current store can stock 80 products while the larger unit could accommodate 150 products.
However, the current planning conditions and deed terms do not allow clothing and footwear to be sold from the Parc Llandudno unit – hence why the company have also applied for this change.
Shoe Zone was approached for comment.
