The much-loved Dark Run family event is returning to light up Penrhyn Castle and Conwy RSPB in North Wales this Autumn.

This family-friendly evening involves a 5km course that participants can choose to jog, walk, or dance along, all while being lit up in colourful glow sticks and fun costumes.

The historic castles will be adorned in bright colours as part of the special event.

The evening is organised by Hope House Tŷ Gobaith, a local children's hospice charity, ensuring every penny collected from entrance fees will directly support seriously ill children and their families.

Participants can look forward to a group warm-up, lots of support, and a free goody bag and a unique medal for everyone involved.

Event organisers Vanessa Marubbi and Nicky Eyes said: "We just can’t wait to welcome all of our fantastic fun-loving supporters and make some memories at these special locations.

"Huge thanks to the National Trust, RSPB and CADW for their generosity and to all our sponsors who help make these great nights happen.

"Don’t miss out, sign up with family, friends or colleagues and make it a night to remember whilst helping us to continue making quality moments for local children and families living with life-limiting conditions."

Children's entry is £5 and adult tickets are £10.

The Penrhyn Castle event is on Saturday, October 19 at 6pm.

Meanwhile, the Conwy RSPB event is on Saturday, October 26 at 6pm.
