A COASTAL ROAD around Llandudno's Great Orme has reopened, days after closing due to rockfall.
A one-mile stretch of Marine Drive was closed on the weekend following rockfall.
No-one was harmed in the incident, which also forced the temporary closure of the Rest and Be Thankful Cafe on Monday and Tuesday.
Climbing above the area, on the South East face of Pen Trwyn, was suspended.
The North Shore stretch was closed to vehicles and pedestrians from the toll house to the junction with St Tudno's Road - known locally as the zigzags. St Tudno's Road is still accessible via the West Shore end of Marine Drive.

On Tuesday engineers were on-site to investigate the cause and ensure there was no further immediate risk to the public - they were then unable to declare the site safe prompting further investigation.
Now Conwy Council has confirmed the road has reopened.
A spokesperson for the council said: "Marine Drive, Great Orme, Llandudno is now fully open."
