Three North Wales organisations have launched recruitment drives for volunteers.
Foodshare North Wales, Abergele Community Shop, and RSPB Cymru are looking for passionate individuals ready to make a difference.
Foodshare North Wales is a Christian Community Interest Company (CIC) that makes food accessible to local communities.
You could spend your Wednesday mornings helping them at the Emmanuel Christian Centre in Llandudno.
The role involves serving customers, checking orders and, while some lifting is expected, it also offers volunteers the chance to be hands-on, assisting in unloading deliveries.
You'll need to be fit and prepared to stand for long periods.
An induction on health and safety will be provided in line with Foodshare’s Policies and Procedures.
Abergele Community Shop, established as a Social Supermarket, redistributes food to help locals cope with the soaring cost of living.
They're on a hunt for volunteers to bolster their friendly team and serve customers, stock shelves, and support local initiatives.
The hours are flexible and training is provided.

For nature enthusiasts, RSPB Cymru is looking for a Youth Group main leader at their Conwy refuge to engage youngsters with the natural world around them.
They look to provide the youth with regular opportunities to explore local wildlife in engaging and sociable groups.
Your role will be to run activities that stir a passion for nature in young people.
The RSPB promises your skills, experience and love of nature will be put to effective use to help the Youth Group thrive.
Typically, leaders spend two to five hours per month outside of meetings on the role, depending upon responsibilities within the group.
If you're keen but lack the necessary skills, don't fret.
The organisation are committed to offering ongoing training and development to ensure volunteers are equipped for their roles.
