A BUILDING occupied by a popular café in Colwyn Bay has been sold at auction, which saw a three-way bidding war.
The 1-5 Abergele Road site was sold at online auction with Town & Country Property Auctions yesterday (August 29).
Given a guide price of £130,000, the building was sold for £135,000 following six bids from three different bidders.

Home to the Olive Tree café since 2015, the three-storey site is under a 15-year lease until 2030, meaning the business is going nowhere anytime soon.
The upper floors are made up of vacant two- and three-bedroom apartments, which are both complete with fitted kitchens and central heating systems.
The auctioneer described the site as having an “excellent overall potential rental income of circa £25,000 per annum”.
