A MAN originally from Llandudno was a winning contestant on an episode of ITV’s The Chase this week.
Jordan Morris, a 27-year-old molecular cell biologist at Cambridge University, won £51,000 between himself and two others (£17,000 each) on Tuesday (August 27)’s episode of the quiz show.
At the start of the show, he told presenter Bradley Walsh, who described Llandudno as “a town with not enough vowels in it”, that he wanted to take his brother, Mark, on a holiday to Ibiza with whatever winnings he takes home.

After banking £7,000 on the first “cash builder” round, Jordan took on a chaser Jenny Ryan, beating her home after taking up on her higher offer of £40,000.
He correctly answered questions including what the French design company Lalique is famous for, the name given to the second hand on a watch or clock, and the name of the “wee English fella” in the TV programme Derry Girls.
Asked by Bradley Walsh if he was “a quizzer”, Jordan told him: “No, I just read Wikipedia a lot.”
Jordan was joined in the final chase by Fiona, from Bradford, and Mat from London, where he correctly answered nine more questions.
His correct answers included to questions about Nigella Lawson, the nervous system, guitars, and Muller Corner yoghurts.
Mat, a 31-year-old actor, said he would be “buying Jordan a pint” in return for his efforts after outrunning Jenny.
