Ysgol Bryn Elian is once again celebrating a great set of GCSE results, just a week after the success of last week’s A-levels.
Exceptional results were achieved at the Colwyn Bay school by Sam Bater, Aimee Cameron, Ciara Cust, Alfie Dougherty, James He, Livvy Hold, Tanisha Kerridge, Rhian Kynaston, Mia Norris, Leighton Roberts and Rebecca Tuffrey.
"We are very proud of everyone who has worked so hard and tirelessly for this year's results," said headteacher Lindsey Hastings.
"We very much look forward to seeing them return to our Sixth Form in September. We have many students who have achieved a plethora of higher grades and also many who have overcome adversity and obstacles to complete Year 11 with qualifications that will help them to take the next steps in their education.
"The school would like to thank all staff, parents and governors for their support over the last few years in enabling our learners to thrive. Everyone at the school works as a team and our learners are given the care, support and guidance they need to excel.
"They should be very proud of themselves and their dedication. We wish them all the best of luck, whatever their future holds."
