GCSE and BTEC pupils at St David’s College in Llandudno have delivered again, with more than 70% graded either A*-C for GCSEs or Distinction*-Merit for BTEC.
Among the top performers was Millie Greenhalgh, who earned a selection of A and B grades at GCSE and is now looking forward to continuing on to St David’s College Sixth Form to study A-levels in Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography and Business.
"I’m happy with my results and excited about progressing to A-levels," said Millie. "St David’s College is very supportive with really helpful teachers."
Will Greenhalgh also secured a great haul of results, with an A*/A double-award science GCSE, A in Design & Technology and grade eight in Mathematics and Geography.
Head of Academics Mark Turner said: "Our pupils continue to impress us with the perseverance and resilience they’ve shown.
"We have seen them flourish both personally and academically over the last few years and the results are a reflection of their achievement and that of the dedicated teaching staff here at the school."
St David’s College headmaster Andrew Russell said: "The results we’ve seen today demonstrate how far our pupils progress when they have the individual support and nurturing environment the staff at this school provide.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming many of these pupils back to the Sixth Form in September to continue their learning journey at St. David’s College and fulfilling their aspirations for the future."
