A MAN has been arrested after three cars reported stolen from Merseyside were recovered at a premises in Conwy.
During a planned visit to an address in Betws-yn-Rhos yesterday (August 21), officers from North Wales Police’s Rural Crime Team discovered a Ford Focus and two Ford Cougars had been dismantled at the location.

Further checks on the vehicles revealed they had been reported stolen.
A 39-year-old man from Betws-yn-Rhos was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
He has since been released under investigation while officers make further inquiries.
