AN INDIAN restaurant in Llandudno has been shortlisted for a regional award at the Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards (ARTA) 2024.

Llandudno Tandoori Restaurant, at 5 Gloddaeth Street, has been nominated for the ‘Regional Restaurant of the Year - North Wales’ category at the annual awards.

Nominees were chosen based on nominations by customers from across the UK, including over 900,000 customers of ARTA’s strategic partner ChefOnline, Social Media and Food Hygiene Ratings, followed by a final judgement of an esteemed judging panel to crown each region’s Asian excellence.

The awards ceremony, on October 6, will be hosted by BBC journalist and broadcaster Samantha Simmonds and magician Paul Martin.

Llandudno Tandoori only opened in May last year, and offers customers a “true taste of India”.
