A GLAMPING site in Llandudno Junction has been awarded a five-star grading from Visit Wales.

Tan y Bryn Glamping has garnered a reputation for its unique experiences which, according to owner Jenny Jarvis, attracts a wealth of visitors from across the UK each year.

Each of the site’s glamping pods, which were built with economy and the environment in mind, boast luxurious, comfortable interiors, complete with hot tubs.

Visit Wales gave it a five-star rating based partly on the site’s outdoor cinema and bar, and a wood-fired pizza oven in selected pods.

This accolade follows a wealth of positive feedback for the glamping site, including the Go North Wales Best Newcomer Award 2022, followed by the Go Glamping, Camping and Caravan Park of the Year 2023, as well as the Booking.com Traveller of the Year Award in 2023.

Jenny said: "I am overjoyed to have been awarded five stars by Visit Wales for Tan y Bryn Glamping.

“We're a family operation and so much passion and energy has gone into creating a memorable experience for all of our guests.

“We have been lucky enough to have received hundreds of five-star online reviews since our opening three short years ago, and to be recognised as such by Visit Wales is such an honour.

“The tourism industry is a huge part of the economy here in North Wales, and we’re dedicated to enhancing the visitor experience and adapting our site to guests’ needs such as the dog-friendly glamping pods, while staying true to our cultural heritage and celebrating our Welshness.”

Since its inception, Tan y Bryn Glamping has started taking bookings for winter breaks, with limited summer availability remaining.
